After half a century in the wholesale nut and candy business, the founders decided to start a "for fun" retirement store. The Peanut Principle was created in 1988 with the principle "If it can be nutty, we'll make it nutty". It certainly has become just that! In January of 2006 The Peanut Principle's master candy maker Shannon Campagna and her husband Joe Campagna purchased the store from the retiring owners. They have not only kept all the same variety and freshness of products, but have also extended many new lines of products.
In our country store atmosphere you will find fresh roasted nuts, nut butter, old fashioned candy, homemade chocolates, coffee, gourmet jams and jellys and snacks. If we could bottle the aroma, we'd sell it too!
